If Flo Rida‘s new single Good Feeling sounds familiar to you on first listen then don’t worry you’re not going crazy. Avicii used the very same chorus recently on his hit single Levels and it has exactly the same chord progression, something that has earned him a co-producer spot on Good Feeling alongside Dr. Luke. Unfortunately the doctor has prescribed another one of his awkward popstep breakdowns towards the end of the son, but luckily he hasn’t managed to completely ruin the production.
The chorus from Good Feeling was of course sampled from Etta James’ legendary 1962 gospel-tinged hit Something’s Got a Hold on Me just in case you were wondering.
Good Feeling is the lead single from Flo Rida’s upcoming album Only 1Â Rida (Part 2) and we think he may have another hit on his hands.
