Wretch 32 had his time to shine on Zane Lowe’s radio show tonight, and he used to opportunity to debut Unorthodox, a new collaboration with Example.
The most surprising thing about this track is the fact that it ‘samples’ the legendary riff from Fools Gold by The Stone Roses. By surprising, I mean that it was quite a shock to hear that Ian Brown & Co were happy to let these two have clearance to the track, not that a rapper has tried once again tried to cross over into ‘indie’ territory.
For me this is a step too far.
