I swore I had posted about Samuel before on this blog but apparently I haven’t, which I guess means I’m going mental. Great.

And since I haven’t talked about him before I guess I should give you brief description as to who he is:

Samuel is a New York native who up until a short time ago was simply playing small shows and doing home recordings. From this he attracted indie label attention, but after being introduced to B-Roc (of The Knocks) he decided to pursue a solo career.

Since then he had had some mild success with his first major release I Heart NY, which is going to form part of his upcoming debut album Trains To Wanderland.

This cover of Drake’s recent single Find Your Love won’t be on the album, but it’s a great song nonetheless. The structure of the original is maintained, but Samuel and B-Roc give the instrumental a more organic sound (and of course Samuel’s vocals are infinitely better than Drake’s).
