The longlist from the BBC Sound of 2009 was somewhat of a vintage lineup, yet there were still 3 or so names that didn’t really manage to make their breakthrough into the public’s consciousness. Master Shortie was one of them.

Instead of accepting defeat, the young rapper is having a second wind, and his latest collaboration with Bruno Mars proves there’s plenty of fight still left in him. We’re still waiting to hear his delayed Studying Abroad mixtape which hopefully should surface in the coming weeks!
