Although he has been busy getting involved with the #occupywallstreet movement Lupe Fiasco has still found the time to record new material. Today he dropped the first single Lightwork from his forthcoming mixtape Friend of the People, which sees him freestyling over the Bassnectar remix of Ellie Goulding‘s never say die single Lights.
A bit of a shame that he chose such an overused instrumental but then again it’s only a mixtape track.
