I’ve seen Swedish duo JJ‘s name being touted around before, but I’ve never been interested enough to actually check out their music. Well, that was until I spotted that they have covered one of my personal favourite songs by The-Dream from his Love vs. Money album – Right Side of My Brain.
Retitled as No More You, this cover is a haunting rendition of the previously R&B/Electro infused masterpiece, and they have done an absolutely spectacular job with it.
On December 24, JJ will release their mixtape entitled Kills, and we are waiting with anticipation!
p.s. If you haven’t listened to The-Dream’s second album Love vs. Money then do it now, it definitely should have won a Grammy.
