We know that Ellie Goulding has been collaborating with a shitload of dance music producers over the past year (1, 2, 3), but we didn’t know that she had linked up with our current favourite French producer Madeon.

Together with Makeba Riddick, who was responsible for Rihanna‘s “Rude Boy“, Kelis‘s “Acapella“, and Beyonce‘s “Get Me Bodied” (amongst others), they have produced the fantastic “Stay Awake“, which for some reason was “relegated” to the Tesco edition of Ellie’s brand new album “Halcyon” that was released on Monday.

This marks the first time that Hugo has publicly produced a track for a mainstream artist, and the results are pretty incredible to say the least. How this didn’t make the final cut for the standard edition I’ll never know.
