Premiered yesterday on Mistajam’s 1Xtra show was, “Forgive Me“, the latest single from rising UK R&B crooner Joel Compass. His rising online was courtesy of his 2013 “Astronaught” EP, and this single will look to build on that by honing in on a chart position in the coming months.

We’re not sure if he has a big enough fan base at the moment to be able to propel him to the higher echelons of the chart, but maybe he can model this big sounding release on Emeli Sande‘s “Heaven” which managed a very credible #2. This definitely sounds like a Ne-Yo release cranked up to 11.
