Pete Lawrie Winfield, a film student and David Lynch fan has also been making music since he was a teenager. Now producing music under his moniker, Until the Ribbon Breaks, the producer from Cardiff, uses a unique style of sampling & instrumentation which when married to the right visuals creates a strange yet hypnotic mixture that appeals not only to the ears of the listener but also to the eyes.

This is evidently displayed on his reworking of the Weeknd’s already sensual “Wicked Games” into a hypnotic & seductive production which is best experience with it’s (somewhat NSFW) video seen below. Having already been featured on Jay-Z’s Life and Times blog as well as NPR, we hope to hear a lot more from Until The Ribbon Breaks in the future.
