We covered Leikeli47 (Leh Kay Lee) a few months back, following the release of her debut mixtape, “LK-47″, where she collaborated with American rapper, Bun B, one half of the southern rap duo UGK. The Brooklyn based singer has now released a music video for “Heard Em Say”, which features rapper Curt@!n$. The visuals, directed by SevenEight, (Eddy Orellana) is reminiscent of the track; fascinating and fresh.
Though Leikeli47 is somewhat undiscovered in the UK, she will hopefully attract the imagination of more listeners, come 2013, with DJ’s such as 1xtra’s Sarah-Jane Crawford singing her praise. You can follow Leikeli47 on Twitter, check our her Tumblr or download her mixtape. Watch this space!
