We heard the audio for Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ new single The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie a few weeks ago, and now the official music video has followed suit.
The music video was directed by Gucci Gucci rapper and Berkeley Film School dropout Kreayshawn. Although it seems quite basic in nature it must have been quite hard to direct considering the large crowd that the group were performing to.
Turns out the video was directed by Marc Klasfeld. The band decided in late July 2011 to film a second version of the music video with their new director and this appears to be it. No-one knows why the band opted to re-shoot the video or whether Kreayshawn’s version will ever be released.
