Last night Pete Tong invited four of his favourite rising stars from the world of dance music to take over his usual two hour Radio 1 segment, this included: Madeon, Otto Knows, Disclosure and Porter Robinson.

In my opinion the show was a great success, but the standout star from the four hosts was definitely Madeon. What was clearly evident from his half-hour segment was his passion for music, fantastic and diverse musical taste, and most of all his infectious personality.

I think the BBC would be missing out on a huge opportunity if they didn’t try and get this youngster on some kind of permanent slot for their 2013 season.
