“I’ve got some crazy remix news,” Boys Noize announced to his legion of Twitter followers all the way back in September 2012. “One of my heroes has remixed XTC!” – which turned out the be the legendary Chemical Brothers, who are known for not taking on a lot of this kind of work. But of course Boys Noize did an epic remix of their single “Swoon” back in 2010, so he was definitely owed a favour.
Their remix of “XTC“, taken from the most recent Boys Noize album “Out Of The Black“, will appear on a 12-inch single of remixes which coincides with the 100th release from Boysnoize Records. The Chemical Brothers effort will occupy Side A of BNR100, while on the other side, Justice have taken on “Ich R U“.
