Next month Kings of Leon will release their highly anticipated new album, Walls. Earlier this week we got another small taste of it as the band appeared on Later … with Jools Holland and performed the second single off of the album “Around The World”. Walls will be Kings of Leon’s seventh studio album, the latest since 2013’s Mechanical Bull.

With the latest track “Around the World” , the Nashville band highlighted a lighter pop-driven sound. It is definitely a lot more upbeat than some of the rock ballads that have been a Kings of Leon staple we have grown to love. The band worked on their new album with a new producer, Markus Dravs, the man behind many Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, and Arcade Fire albums. Walls is set to be released on October 14th via RCA. Hopefully a full tour will follow!
