Proving once again why he’s the most underrated remixer in the game, Russ Chimes comes through with one of his finest efforts to date. Apparently Russ first sent this remix through to her record company last spring when the demo for Starry Eyed first surfaced, and nearly a full year on it still sounds brilliant….
I’ve just stumbled across this remix of Marina & The Diamonds’ “Mowgli’s Road” by Russ Chimes, and predictably, it’s brilliant. When you listen again to the original, it is impressive to see what he has achieved with this remix. Everything seems to come together beautifully, especially when the track gathers pace towards its amazing climax….
So here is my choice for this week, it’s a Russ Chimes Remix of Frankmusik’s “Confusion Girl”. I think it’s a great remix for these stated reasons: 1. Epic strings 2.
