In what came as a bit of a surprise, Two Door Cinema Club made an appearance today on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Considering that they weren’t listed on the website’s schedule, I was expecting the next act to be Chase & Status on Friday, but I was certainly not complaining.
They didn’t have anything in particular to promote as the majority of the singles from their debut album Tourist History were released last year, so they went ahead and played their most popular track Something Good Can Work.
For their cover they chose to take on the Mumford & Sons‘ single The Cave. I can’t say I’m a big fan of Mumford & Sons which is why they haven’t appeared on the site yet, but it sounds like they did a decent enough job whilst managing to put their own unique spin on it.
