As well as visiting Tim Westwood earlier in the week, Lupe Fiasco also dropped into DJ Semtex‘s 1xtra show too. Whilst he was there Lupe mentioned about when he went on tour with The Prodigy for 17 different venues, in which they established themselves as his favourite live act.
He made a remix of their popular track Girls, which was initially used on tour to hype up the crowd before the headline act set down. It was then planned to be released on an album but Lupe had clearance issues with it, consigning it to the vaults. Until now that is.
Semtex had a world exclusive to play on his show and you can download it below. I’ve tried to remove most of the tags myself, but I couldn’t get rid of the one over Lupe’s vocals so I apologise for that. Hopefully we will get a studio versio soon as it is fucking beast.
I’ve also included his freestyle with Sway over Kanye West‘s single Monster too as an added extra.
