Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child (feat. John Martin)

Billed as a track able to “make a grown man cry”, the last hurrah from Swedish House Mafia, entitled “Don’t You Worry Child“, was finally played out for the first time during Pete Tong’s show earlier on tonight. A live video of the John Martin-vocalled future smash has been circulating since their MK Bowl gig last month, but the studio version (naturally) blows that one out of the water, and we’ve been left with something truly spectacular.

It maintains that pop sensibility of “Save The World“, but plays more on the melodic big-room chord sequence and vocal to err more towards a dancefloor smash that’ll serve their lasting legacy well. It’s a befittingly huge last effort from one of the most influential dance acts of recent years. Salute.
