If you have been a fan over the blog over the past 5-6 years, you will have noticed that we have posted a shitload of tracks from English singer/songwriter Jess Mills. We’ve seen it before and we will see it again, but sometimes all you need is to re-brand yourself within the music industry and more people will start taking notice, and that’s exactly what is happening here after Jess released a slew of new music under the pseudonym SLO.
“Shut Out Of Paradise” is the latest track to hit her SoundCloud page, and it’s our personal favourite so far. It perfectly mixes the Jess we became accustomed to with this change in music aesthetic. It’s gorgeous.
