I’m sure we are all looking forward to Scream’s second studio album Outside the Box which is set to be released later in 2010 on Tempa records.
At Glasto, Rusko was meant to be doing an essential mix for Radio 1, but but for some reason he had no idea that he was meant to appear (and therefore was on his way to the airport). At the last minute Skream stepped in to deliver an unrehearsed Essential Mix, purely because he was hanging around backstage and had his set of records with him.
During that phenomenal set he dropped Where You Should Be which features Sam Frank on vocals, and is a confirmed album track.
Now this track isn’t a ‘traditional’ dubstep tune, but it is absolutely fantastic nonetheless. The thing I love about Scream is the fact that he doesn’t feel the need to put hard basslines in songs where they really aren’t necessary, and this is one of those occasions.
Where You Should Be has a Magnetic Man feel to it, but the real key here is in the emotional content and delivery of the lyrics – this track is superb.
