I have to admit that I’m quite late to the party with “Drive Hard” by Prototype Raptor, but it’s definitely the kind of track that is just too good not to post about (thanks to etmusiquepourtous).
PrototypeRaptor (a.k.a Jonathan Paulsen)Â had an early introduction to the world of house and music production at the age of 13, now 21, although he is still relatively unknown, the quality and talent behind his sound is easy to behold.
One thing that instantly struck me about “Drive Hard” was the subtle similarities in production with another talented electro artist called Mord Fustang. In my eyes this is Mord Fustang with a lot more funk, but PrototypeRaptor had this to say about “Drive Hard“:
“Yes, this is directly inspired by Mord Fustang. I like that guy. Even if we don’t get to see his face”
