I stumbled across this cover of Skrillex‘s Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites today by a band called Pinn Panelle today and I personally think they did a fantastic job of replicating the original.

Not only do they obviously have fantastic musical technique but they have also employed some groundbreaking guitar and bass effects technology to deliver a superb live rendition.

You would definitely never see Skrillex himself trying to attempt anything like this at a live show. Quality stuff.
