After mashup artist Carlos Serrano‘s popularity exploded last month thanks to his Daft Punk & Adele mashup (which has seen close to 1m plays on SoundCloud so far), it was imperative that his follow-up effort was of the same calibre. Thankfully it is, and this time he has worked his wizardry over Phoenix‘s “Lisztomania” and Kavinsky‘s “Nightcall“.

I remember hearing Serrano’s mashup work last year when he cleverly mashed Kanye West with The xx, but his production techniques have dramatically improved since then, so it’s really nice to see that he is getting some pretty huge recognition for it.
