“Salt in the Wounds” has a typical Pendulum riff heavy sound (similar to that of “Slam”), the main difference being a dubstep style breakdown halfway through the track. This isn’t their official first single from new album “Immersion”, just an album track that has been touted around to drum up interest in the band once again.

Pendulum recently hosted an album preview night at Matter in London where a few DJs performed sets of their own before Pendulum stepped in as the headliners. Pendulum played demo tracks from Immersion during their set which included “The Island”, “Rise Of The Vulture”, “Take Me Out of Here”, and “Watercolour”. Enjoy:
