After having one of the most memorable years of his career to date, Martin Solveig has finally been invited to submit his own Essential Mix for Pete Tong’s legendary Radio 1 show.
As you will hear from the audio Martin is a big fan of the show, so therefore I think it’s safe to assume that he has put a lot of hard work and effort into this mix.
“Making the Essential Mix was the ultimate radio mix experience. It’s the 1st time I’ve been invited to do it and so I worked on it very carefully. I’ve offered a few rarities, several of my own edits and a global selection of music that is in line with my current DJ set, because I think that’s what people will expect. There is no theme as such; it’s eclectic, like most of my sets. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you this weekendâ€.
It’s a big download as I encoded with an unnecessarily high bitrate but I promise you that it’s worth it.
