Magnetic Man are once again performing live from Maida Vale for the BBC this week, and the first of their performances aired today on Trevor Nelson’s 1Xtra show.
The trio chose to perform album track The Bug and were accompanied by a three-piece string section, and long time collaborator Sam Frank who was on vocoder duties.
As is the way with Magnetic Man and the BBC, they like to savour these occasions for as long as they can, which means you guys will have to wait until Saturday when I will be able to upload the second part of their Maida Vale performance when it airs on Jo Wiley’s Radio 1 show.
This should tide you over for the meantime though.
