We’ve already been thoroughly captivated with London Grammar’s previous two singles “Hey Now” and “Metal & Dust“, but another song from their recently released “Metal & Dust” EP has been criminally overlooked. “Darling Are You Gonna Leave Me” is yet another glimpse into the ever growing catalogue of epic releases that this talented trio has in store for us in 2013.
I went to see them this week at the Electrowerkz in London, and they pretty much showcased the whole of their forthcoming album. It was quite cute to see that a lot of their friends had attended the gig (and knew most tracks word for word), but I don’t think a lot of them fully appreciate how big London Grammar are going to become. They are all talented multi-instrumentalists, and their lead-singer Hannah is in possession of one of the finest female vocals that I have heard in the last decade at least.
If you were dumb enough to miss out on our last competition where we gave away two tickets to that show, then I sincerely suggest that you buy tickets for their headline show at London’s Islington Assembly Hall before that sells out too.
