When Kelly Rowland dropped into the Radio 1 studios today to take part in a Live Lounge session, she chose the perfect song to cover – Kasabian’s Underdog. Kelly Rowland can be considered to be an underdog herself, perpetually in the shadow of her former band-mate Beyonce Knowles.
Kelly stripped down Kasabian’s modern classic and turned it into an acoustic masterpiece, effortlessly displaying her smooth vocals.
Of course Kelly performed one of her own tracks too, an acoustic version of her dancefloor killer Commander. I’m currently on a 1/2 hour break from work so forgive me for not posting up download links, they will be added a bit later. For now just enjoy the audio!
