After making a name for herself here in the UK, Katy B is stepping across the Atlantic with the intentions of taking over America. Her critically acclaimed debut album, On A Mission, debuts in the US on September 13th and the promotional push comes together with all new material.

One of the first bits of new music is a Gigamesh remix of her most successful single so far Lights On. The remix is funky and different to other alternatives on the original remix package for the single which is brilliant.

I wish Katy all the luck in the world, but I don’t think it will be a very successful venture. I can only see myself quoting Marty McFly in about 6 months – “I guess you guys aren’t ready for that yet”.
