As most people know, Kanye West correctly decided to take a break following his MTV VMA debacle. He disappeared yes, but whether he actually took a break from music or not is another matter.

Rumours have been floating around the internet that various artists have been invited to join him at his recording studio in Hawaii to put the finishing touches to his next studio album Good Ass Job.

For those of you who had hoped that the break would have calmed him down a bit, i’m sorry to say..you’re wrong. With the newly leaked single Power which features Dwele, King Kanye West announces his grand return in dramatic style declaring that he “embodies every characteristic of the ego-tistic.”

In Power he goes after the SNL cast pretty hard, telling them that “Yeezy said they can kiss his whole asshole”, whilst channeling all the “screams from the haters” to fuel his memorable return into the public’s conscience.

Production comes from Symbolyc One, with co-production by Kanye, and typically it’s fantastic, using a sample from King Crimson’s 21st Century Schizoid Man.

Power is presumably the first single from Good Ass Job, due this fall.
