We’ve seen some budget mixtape covers in our time, but this one takes the biscuit right? Luckily this blog favours substance over style.

Inspired by famous mixtapes such as The Grey Album and Viva La Hova comes a brand new Jay-Z remix concept. This latest mixtape, mixed by Fatty Hezlop, samples some of the most legendary Jimi Hendrix tracks and mashes them up with some of Jay Z’s finest.

This mixtape has been getting some decent feedback so I thought I’d throw it up for our readers too. Yeah sure, he may have gone for the traditional Jay-Z songs to remix, but you have to admire the implementation – which is excellent.
