The enigma known as Jamie xx was Radio 1’s special guest last night for the latest installment of their legendary Essential Mix series. He came to prominence with his band The xx, but has quickly established himself as a talented producer and DJ.
This is quite a coup for Radio 1 and their Essential Mix program as the music industry has been going bananas for Jamie xx material recently.
I’m off to work right now so I don’t have time to upload a listening stream, but when I get back later I definitely will. In the meantime though you might as well download the Essential Mix yourself and have a listen on your computer.
