If you have listened to some of Just Jack’s songs before, you may be able to hear the influence that the disco era has had on his music. Certainly I notice it in tracks such as Starz In Their Eyes, which channels the bass playing sound of the legendary Bernard Edwards of Chic.
Anyway, a few years back he released a Christmas mix that was absolutely fantastic. I have continued to pester him on Twitter about doing another Christmas mix but he said that he was simply too busy at the time to be able to do one.
However, Jack uploaded a new mix to Soundcloud today, and I’m absolutely delighted. I’m currently only a third of the way through it, but it has been fantastic to listen to so far. You can listen and download below! Enjoy.
