Yesterday J. Cole dropped the official artwork for his new single Work Out on his blog and shortly after the audio followed. I don’t think anyone here needs to be told where the samples have been taken from, as it’s fairly obvious from the opening bars.
If this is his first official single then what do you guys think of it? Were you expecting a little bit more from the talented youngster? I definitely like the lyrical content, but at the moment I’m finding the instrumental to be lacking, but who knows that may change after a few more listens.
