Radio 1’s Huw Stephens had the pleasure of welcoming the talented New York five-piece band Friends to Maida Vale studios earlier in the week. The band are fronted by the sultry Samantha Urbani who effortlessly smashed out perfect renditions of their current rotation of songs that included: Friend Crush, I’m His Girl and A Thing Like This.
Big credit must go their bassists who have such a natural groove to their playing style. I fucking love it.
