Florence The Machine Live Lounge 2011

Florence + The Machine shot straight to the top of the UK charts when she released her second studio album Ceremonials a few weeks ago. Although she displayed absolutely no signs of the dreaded sophomore slump, her album has since dropped down the charts quite quickly, now placing below Adele‘s powerhouse, 21.

In order to drum up some publicity for an obviously brilliant release, she was granted a very special extended Live Lounge session today courtesy of the BBC. We have grabbed some of the highlights for you which include live renditions of her singles Shake It Out, What The Water Gave Me and No Light, No Light, as well as a fantastic cover of Drake‘s popular future single Take Care.

This will most likely be my last post till Monday as I’m hitting up UKF Bass Culture tonight and seeing J. Cole tomorrow, so I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Enjoy!
