BBC Radio 1 officially began their student tour this week, which sees them visiting several Universities across the country bringing with them some of the most popular acts on the radio at the moment. Not only do the artists appear in the Live Lounge in the morning, but then the students are treated to an exclusive gig later on in the night.

The Live Lounge student tour sessions in the morning are actually recorded in front of a crowd, which harks back to the early beginnings of the show where artists used to rock up to a fan’s house to perform in their front room (hence the name Live Lounge). This kind of format is a nice change from everyone appearing at either Maida Vale or Abbey Road.

Anyway, Example was their special guest today at University of Hertfordshire where he performed his single Changed The Way You Kissed Me, as well as a cover of Rihanna‘s new single We Found Love. Check out both tracks below and let us know what you made of the performance.
