No longer a stranger to the Live Lounge, Ellie Goulding popped into the BBC studios yesterday to promote her single release of Lights.
On a side note, whoever it is at her label who is in charge of her single releases really needs to sort their act out. Lights was probably one of the best songs from her debut album (of the same name), yet it has literally taken over a year for them to repackage and sell it as a single. It was originally scheduled to be released on the 8th of September 2010, but instead it was continually pushed back and back until now. Lights has also been selected as the lead single for Ellie’s push into the American market, but I really can’t envisage any kind of chart success unfortunately. /rant
Anyway, back to what I was supposed to be talking about, Ellie also performed a delightful cover of Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez. Listen and download both performances below. Enjoy.
