As part of Radio 1’s “Student Tour”, Chase & Status dropped into Oxford Brookes’s Student Union to play out a stripped down version of their new single Let You Go and also a cover of Plan B‘s Prayin’.
The acoustic version of Let You Go provided X-Factor alumni Mali with the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the full range of his vocal capabilities. An impressive set of lungs for a guy aged just 17.
Mali duly delivered again when it was time to take on Plan B’s popular single Prayin’, backed by a new take on the instrumental by Chase & Status (which sounded nothing like their original remix).
