It’s has been a long while since Britney Spears has released any new music, but finally the time has come where she is ready to release material from her forthcoming album.
Hold It Against Me is her first single and it again takes a diversion from the sound we became accustomed to from her Circus album. It’s definitely a popstep song, but shows that she is more than willing to explore new territories when compared to her female contemporaries, which is thanks again to her longtime collaborators Max Martin and Dr. Luke.
In unusual fashion the track is immediately available on iTunes for one week only before a general release later in the month, so if you want to grab it then catch it while it’s hot. It definitely has Billboard #1 written all over it – Britney’s back bitch.
