Bombay Bicycle Club

Bombay Bicycle Club an indie and folk band from north London aren’t the first thing which come to mind when one mentions reggae. Yet the ‘Rub A Dub’ version (their calling) of Lights Out, Words Gone produced by Jack Steadman say otherwise. Although this version takes some getting used to, surprisingly it’s nearly as good as the original. Thankfully this isn’t a permanent change in sound for the Crouch End quartet as I’ve been assured that the Rub A Dub version is just part of the Leave it EP which will be released on 1st January 2012.

The original version of Lights Out, Words Gone is taken from the album A Different Kind of Fix available now via Island Records.
