Since Jai Paul seems unwilling to come forward with new material, there are of course always going to be people grasping at the chance to step into the void. We first heard of Ben Kahn a couple of months ago when he premièred a track called “Drive (Part 1)” on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show. Since then though he has re-branded his SoundCloud account and removed a couple of songs called “Fear“, “Whitehorse“, “The Writer“, and “These Walls“.

Could this be because we are about to see a major label push? Who knows, but the tracks that are still left on his account suggest that he has some serious song-writing ability, and the technical chops to go with it too. We’re not going to go completely overboard yet though, as we have a tendency of falling in love with an artist’s sound before they reveal their actual direction.
