Hello everybody, my name is Mitch, and this is the first post for me as a new writer for Details of My Life So Far..

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you all to Shirin, she is a Hampshire born singer/ songwriter with a pop/ electro/ funk feel. I first discovered her music 4 years ago and have been watching her progress massively as an artist, with her new music taking a more bassy, almost dubstep like feel.

Although she may be unknown now that hasn’t stopped her working with the likes of Benny Cassett (produced for; Black Eyed Peas, Eve and Mariah Carey), KC Porter (Micheal Jackson, Toni Braxton, Santana), Jon Rezin (American Idol, Jay Z, Avril Lavigne) and Marcus Bell (Triple Platinum selling producer).

Her debut single Taking You Away was released in November 2010 and reached number 12 in the Music Week pop commercial chart. Its fresh, its poppy and its full of gumballs! Check the audio for Taking You Away below!
