To begin with today I’m going to have to ease you guys in with a few catch-up posts that I meant to give you earlier in the month as they are starting to pile up!

The first of which is this incredibly impressive remix by Lighthouses which managed to take the top spot in Alex Metric’s remix competition that was running for his most recent single End of the World.

Alex went into further detail as to why he chose this as the winning entry:

“I chose Lighthouses as their effort really stuck out as something different, I love the 80s feel to it. It sounded original and was like none of the other entries. Dare to be different and it pays off!”

Wise words indeed which I totally agree with. Definitely worth making a note of for those of you who might want to enter into similar competitions in the future.
