Alex Metric is set to release his forthcoming EP on Miike Snow‘s record label, and a preview of a brand new track from it called “Anybody Else” was played out by Jaymo & Andy George yesterday, during their takeover of Annie Nightingale’s show on Radio 1.
“Anybody Else” is yet another fantastic release by Metric, which combines some of his trademark uplifting piano chords with Discovery-era synth arpeggiation and some nice vocoder work.
Alex is of course joining Miike Snow and Niki & The Dove for what should be an epic UK tour in October at these venues, which I would seriously suggest going to if you have the opportunity:
