Tinchy Stryder‘s third studio album Third Strike which was released last year was an official flop compared to his incredible successful release Catch 22. People may speculate that his decline was due to the rapid ascension of Tinie Tempah but there was no denying that the singles from Third Strike just weren’t good enough.

Seeing as his forthcoming fourth studio album is a pivotal deciding moment in his career it looks like he has come out of his corner all guns blazing. Drafting in the ever popular Calvin Harris to produce his lead single Off The Record is an incredibly shrewd move as he rarely places outside the top five these days.

Off The Record is all about what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but it could become a prophetic reality for Tinchy Stryder unless it does big things on release in November.
