Now that we are scouring all the emails submitted to our inbox with a valid YouTube or SoundCloud link, we are finding a couple of extra pleasant surprises every day. One of those is The Beach (one guy – George Morgan), who has previously released a number of compelling covers including the likes of Tobias Jesso Jr., Eaves, and Bon Iver.

The track that particularly caught our attention though is his new single “Maybe“, which is the title track from his forthcoming EP, released Oct 9th via Year One / RCA Records. It’s saying something that we are impressed by this, as his style of music isn’t usually our bag. This got its premiere yesterday via Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio Station, so it’s getting some high praise from other media outlets too.
