When I discovered last week that Pusha T was set to appear on Pixie Lott‘s new single What Do You Take Me For, I wasn’t slow in displaying my disgust via Twitter. Since then it has also transpired that Rusko was the man producing the single, which resulted in equal amounts of disgust but without the same level of shock value.
Unfortunately this looks like a desperate attempt by Pixie’s A&R to try and put her on a track with two artists who they think have decent sway with the streets. The reality is that Rusko has little to no respect within the EDM community, and Pusha T still probably doesn’t even know who Pixie Lott is. My guess is that he was offered an insane amount of money for 30 seconds work. Of course he was going to say yes.
