Earlier today Nelly Furtado‘s brand new single “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” got its radio world première, which is the first track to be taken from her fourth English studio album “The Spirit Indestructible“.
Produced by one of my favourites Darkchild, “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” is a bit of a weird one, as it seemingly builds on the work she did with Timbaland & Danja on “Loose“, whilst trying to modernise the sound (i.e. The D&B style break towards the end).
With a range of producers signed up for the album, including: Bob Rock, Tiësto, John Shanks, Di Genius, and Fraser T. Smith, i’m definitely not expecting it to be on the same level as “Loose” but it should be a fun album to listen to nonetheless.
