Maroon 5 are finally back with their brand new single, which has been revealed to be Misery.
The song made its premiere on iTunes earlier, and it’s the first song to be taken from the band’s upcoming new album Hands Over Me which will be released on the 21st September.
Misery sounds like a typical Maroon 5 song, and that is something that I’d expect their fans wouldn’t be too disappointed about.
â€Misery is about … the desperation of wanting someone really badly in your life but having it be very difficult. Kind of what all the songs I write are about,†Adam told MTV.
“I’m not treading on new ground, but I think a lot of people — including myself — deal with that all the time. Relationships are difficult, and it’s good therapy to write about them.â€
Apparently the music video for Misery has already been shot by director Joseph Khan, and according to Levine, it will be, “fun†and “violentâ€.
Remember to buy the single when it’s released!
